They are contrasted by bright rings of red berries, which are produced from sprays of small white flowers in summer.
The berries last for many months and make a good contrast against the glossy, dark green foliage.
Germination tips: To assist in the uptake of moisture for germination to occur seed best scarified by pre-treating with hot water first. Hot water treatment is recommended for this species. Sow seed 5-6mm deep. Keep warm & moist, avoid drying out or waterlogging the growing mix.
